अथातो अर्थ जिज्ञासा। athāto artha jijñāsā.
Now, therefore, [begins] the inquiry into Artha (meaning, purpose, wealth, and power).
आचार्य कौटिल्य उवाच, आन्वीक्षिकी त्रयी वार्त्ता दण्डनीतिश्च इति विद्याः।
ācārya kauṭilya uvāca, ānvīkṣikī trayī vārttā daṇḍanītiś ca iti vidyāḥ.
The great teacher Kauṭilya [the author of Arthaśāstra] said that cognitive methods, the Vedic tradition, economics, and the science of governance are the knowledge-components [of Artha].
This channel is called The Artha Perspective (अर्थ दर्शन), meaning looking at reality through Arthaśāstra.
The logo has been designed by Mridull Thaplu. It consists of a diagram of the earth (Artha) in the background and four symbols in front: a lotus (cognitive methods), a manuscript (the Vedic tradition), a pair of scales (economics) and a sceptre (the science of governance).
It means that one should gain and exercise Artha with the knowledge of the four disciplines.
